HEALTHY BREAKFAST AND LUNCH IDEAS FOR THE GIRL ON THE GO!!

Hey guys welcome! I wanted to share what I've been eating lately to try to lose weight and get healthy. I'm trying to eat more clean, however since I'm a yoyo dieter & get bored easily,  I still keep my sanity by allowing myself to eat a little bit of processed stuff  here and there, mainly in the form of artificial sweeteners. Chemicals over calories right? lol JK! but no really I can't lay off the Aspartame. Anyway, I'm in a hurry to get up and get to work every morning, so I prepare myself a protein shake. Protein shakes/meal replacement drinks are quick and easy to prepare, and taste great. My current fave is GNC's Cookies n Cream Total Lean Shake. It keeps my full for hours and all I do is blend it with ice and almond milk in a Magic Bullet and run out the door. For added sweetness I add 1/2 a banana and it comes out even more yummy!

For Lunch I keep it simple. I prepare a fresh salad the night before usually consisting of romaine lettuce and topped with cherry tomatoes and some sort of fruit. I love cilantro in salads as well. I'm not a dressing person, I really dislike any dressings especially oily ones, however I made my own using lemon juice. I'm not the biggest fan of salads in general due the taste of the greens, but I'm obsessed with strawberries and cilantro and somehow they make the salads more palatable. Making myself a pretty plate also helps with eating salads. If it looks pretty, it will taste great right? So I make myself a little bento box using a Rubbermaid Tupperware and put medium and small sized ones all inside with fruit a healthy side of fruit and homemade dressing like so.

I don't have a photo of my usual dinner because it changes every day but it usually consists of veggies and protein! Thanks for visiting!

HOW I ORGANIZE MY MAKEUP

So I came to the realization that I do not need any more makeup. What I do need is to find a way to organize the madness I have lying around my room. I have lipsticks on my desk, random eye pencils in between my sofa, and about 3 makeup bags that seem to swallow everything inside because I can never find crap! So during a trip to Sam's club for something not makeup related, I stumbled upon this multi-drawer rolling cart and it has made my life a lot easier and my room a lot cleaner! A definite must have for every makeup gal! I was very surprised to find just how much makeup fits in the drawers. When I’m getting ready, I simply push my cart full of goodies to my vanity or living room, or where ever the lighting is best that day so I can grab what I need and voila. Pictured below is only 4 drawers out of the 10 and as you can see, those 4 alone fit a good chunk of products. I think I might need to grab myself another one! Oh, and in case you were wondering, I paid only $20 at Sam’s. Go me! Here is a photo of it via my Instagram...

Alexander Wang Rocco Bag UPDATED PHOTOS!

Hey all! I CANNOT believe it's been over a year since I raved about my AW Rocco inspired bag! I still use it almost every day, and the photos below are of it's current condition. Immaculate! I love how well made it is and above all, the chic'ness of it. Below is my post from April 2012 about this bag and I just wanted to update the photos and let you know that this bag is still my go-to bag!
-----
So I've been eye-ing the Alexander Wang Rocco Bag for a while, but let's face it, I can't afford no $900 bag! I've seen so many celebrities with it and I just had to get my hands on this baby! at least a similar one haha..

I'm a fool for all things studded and rockish, so I've been on the hunt for a similar bag. NOTE: There's a BIG difference between a Replica and an inspired bag. A replica is a bag that is fake, but claims to be the real thing. An Inspired bag, is a bag that simply looks like the real thing, but has no label on it. So i found a Rocco inspired bag, and it looks like the real deal!

Here is the  Alexander Wang Rocco Bag that retails at $875

And here is the inspired bag that i found

Looks just like it right??! I went gaga for it! I bought this bag at VJ-Style  for... wait for it.. $35.99! Plus $10 shipping to the US. I'm so happy and in love with it!  Thanks for reading!
